Isn't it time to put in that vacation request? " It was fun finally meeting the people who were only a name before. The car show was great watching people drool over our 912s. The drives were magnificent, and the gimmck rally was fun. The final dinner at the Foley winery - what a setting and a fun time! The camaraderie was the glue that made it a great experience. I'm looking forward to 2006. Anita and I had the most fun we've had in a while. " - Aric G " Lisa and I look forward to the weekend each year. " - Keith and Pam Shukait " It was great meeting Tom R from Florida at the last Rendezvous. We had a great time doing the Gimmick Rally together. He and I both really enjoyed the Rendezvous a lot more by being able to share the experience with another 912 enthusiast. As a note of explanation, Tom and his wife flew out so he was 912'less at the Rendezvous. We hooked up when I found out he didn't have a ride for the Gimmick. We had a blast doing the rally even though we didn't even finish it. " - Scott D " It's always been a pleasure to attend the Rendezvous. The hotel accommodations are always top notch, the restaurants we visit always have some of the best food I have tasted on either coast, and the events are always a blast. Its the people however that make it a truly great event. Every year someone asks me in disbelief, why I would drive a vintage sports car with no creature comforts, harsh seats, and no air conditioning across the country for this event. The answer I give them is always the same; the friends I have made here and the people I meet make it worth every mile. " - Harry Hoffman " The 2005 Rendezvous was the best yet! I felt that the Welcoming Party on the first night really nailed what has been missing up until now - a place to just show up and introduce yourself to familiar names, without knowing the faces. I was able to meet and greet as many people in the matter of a couple of hours that it had taken 4 days to do at past events. This function is a "must" for anybody new to the Registry.
